Triodos Bank is a frontrunner in ethical banking and global impact investing. We believe money can change the world for the better — our organisation was founded on that belief.
At Triodos Bank, we are shaping the future of our organisation. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will align the people agenda with business goals, support a high-performing culture, and help the organisation navigate change with agility and empathy. This is a one-year contract for 32–36 hours per week.
How you will make a difference
You will help us to 'change finance to finance change', by bringing our People plan to life and supporting people-centred organisational change.
This is a role in a changing organisational context. You will support reorganisations while balancing business objectives with their human impact. You will help leaders make informed people decisions and build engaged, high-performing teams.
To get there, you will:
- Drive all HR processes related to reorganisations and ensure effective engagement with managers, co-workers, works council(s) and other stakeholders.
- Bring the People plan to life by turning its vision into practical actions and advice.
- Provide expert advice, data-driven insights and coaching to senior leaders and leadership teams.
- Oversee performance management, talent development and employee-engagement initiatives in line with the evolving business context.
- Act as a catalyst for organisational change, balancing business objectives with the human side of transformation.
Your future colleagues
You will be part of the HR Business Partner team and report to the Head of HRBP. The team supports the organisation by connecting people priorities with business needs.
You will work closely with senior leaders, leadership teams, co-workers and works council(s).
What you will bring
Your unique potential and your values matter most to us. We look for people who are self-aware and who think in a broad, connected way, always conscious of their impact on society, the environment, and the economy. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least eight years of experience as an HR generalist or HR Business Partner, with a track record of driving people strategies in complex environments.
- Proven expertise in leading organisational change and embedding HR best practices.
- A deep commitment to the Triodos mission and the ability to translate it into practical actions.
- Strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how HR creates value.
- The ability to build trust, negotiate and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and a clear focus on delivery.
- Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken is required.
We consider it a plus, if you have:
- Experience with different cultures and international labor law jurisdictions.
You do not need to bring all of these. If you meet what the role needs above and some of this list, please do apply.
Just as important is how you work. In terms of soft skills and behaviours, you will:
- Take ownership of decisions, drive implementation and ensure outcomes support strategic goals.
- Work across the organisation to connect people priorities, business objectives and organisational change.
- Build trust, collaborate across boundaries and support people through change.
- Build coalitions with leaders, co-workers and works councils to achieve shared objectives.
