Currently, we’re strengthening our Procurement organisation. Due to the increased need for strong category strategies, we would like to bring on board an experienced professional for a Category Manager position.
How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by developing and implementing effective category and sourcing strategies that enhance procurement value, ensure compliance, and strengthen supplier management practices.
Next to working closely with Sourcing Execution & Contract Managers in the Procurement function, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organisation and contribute to the professionalisation of Procurement at Triodos.
In this role:
- You will deliver category strategy plans, sourcing approaches, and procurement governance policies. Your initial focus will be the professional services category.
- You will engage and align with key internal stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are reflected in procurement strategies
- You will partner closely with the Sourcing Execution & Contract Managers on sourcing initiatives and stakeholder alignment
- You will define and conduct negotiation strategies with suppliers to drive savings and value
- You will provide input on potential risks across the procurement process
- You will help monitor governance implementation and support continuous improvement of category strategies

- previous experience in category management, sourcing, and strategic procurement
- a strong understanding of the professional services landscape, including trends, challenges and best practices in procurement within this category
- proven experience with negotiation and supplier management
- practice in working with procurement processes, governance, and risk frameworks
- good command of English
