Corporate Secretary to the Management Board (32-36 hours per week)
How you will make a difference:
The Corporate Secretary’s primary role is to support the Management Board of Triodos Investment Management (3 members) with governance excellence in a dynamic environment.
You will coordinate board activities and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including Triodos Bank and other key partners.
To be successful in this role:
- You will focus on preparing, facilitating and minuting of the weekly meetings of the Management Board (MB).
- You coordinate and prepare meeting materials and ensure follow-up of action items and internal communication of decisions. Moreover, you keep the rolling agenda of MB meetings up to date from a legal and corporate governance perspective.
- You review cover notes to memos and/or presentations to be tabled at MB meetings, enhancing the quality of the decision-making process during the meetings. All to make sure the time of the MB is used effectively in a meeting context.
- You prepare and facilitate the meetings of MB with the Executive Board and Group Directors of Triodos Bank.
- You proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of the responsibilities of the MB or raise issues of which the MB should be aware and bring forward proposals to resolve the problem or mitigate the risk.
- Next to that you prepare and facilitate the monthly meetings of the Management Council and the quarterly Managers Meetings.
- You are part of the committee that organises the weekly Triodos Community Meetings.
- You assist in driving the creation of a ‘secretary community’ within Triodos forward.
What you will bring:

You are a professional with relevant experience more than a few years as a corporate secretary, product manager or (inhouse) legal officer, or you are a professional with work experience in the financial industry, preferably the asset management sector. You are motivated to work at top-level closely connected to corporate governance related work (in the broadest sense).
- You have the ability to work and think at an academic level.
- You have keen interest in corporate governance.
- You have a keen eye on stakeholder management within organisation.
- You have an interest in and/or you have experience in using AI for your corporate secretary/ legal advisory work.
Furthermore, it is expected that you are:
- honest, trustworthy and able to work with highly confidential information. Due to the nature of the position, integrity, organisation sensitivity, and understanding of governance relationships are essential.
- proactive, hands-on, self-motivated, and flexible.
- well-organised and able to prioritise.
- have high stress resistance and work effectively under pressure.
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both Dutch and English required.
- are highly cooperative, maintain a positive outlook, and have a talent for managing expectations
- are willing to work on Friday to prepare the weekly meeting of the MB on Monday.
Your future colleagues
The Corporate Secretary has direct access to and works directly with the three members of the MB. The Corporate Secretary also closely cooperates with the Management Assistant of the MB. Hierarchically, the Corporate Secretary reports, together with the Management Assistant, to the Head of Product & Project Management.

- a salary appropriate to the position, our remuneration policy and your experience (€ 4,948 - € 7,480) based on a 36-hour workweek
