About the Role
We are strengthening our leadership in delivering impactful, customer-centric solutions for business growth. As Value Stream Lead (VSL) for Growing My Business, you will own the end-to-end performance of this critical value stream, ensuring it delivers sustainable, scalable, and mission-aligned business banking solutions that empower entrepreneurs to grow their businesses while making a positive impact.

Sector-specific financing for sustainable and impact-driven businesses, including renewable energy, social enterprises, circular economy, and high-impact larger enterprises, ensuring we enable growth and positive change across the spectrum.

Digital business banking journeys that simplify account management, lending, and financial planning, with fast and clear customer processes. Clients can easily provide data and quickly obtain financing certainty through a seamless experience.

Unifying pricing, credit risk, and customer processes, efficiently granting and managing credits with the right balance of impact, risk, and return.
This role requires end-to-end accountability for the value stream's strategy, budget, risk, and team leadership, as well as close collaboration with country Managing Directors, the Group Director Customer Journeys, and other VSLs to ensure alignment and adoption.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will own the end-to-end performance of the Growing My Business Value Stream, ensuring it delivers outstanding commercial, customer, and societal outcomes. In more detail, you will:
Strategy & Planning

Define the value stream's ambition, outcomes, OKRs, and roadmap, aligned with group objectives, impact goals, and the needs of SMEs and social enterprises.

Translate Triodos' mission and commercial strategy into clear targets and priorities for your Empowered Product Teams (EPTs), ensuring a balance between profitability, customer satisfaction, and societal impact.

Develop and own the year plan (GYP) for your value stream, including budget allocation and resource planning.
Product Delivery & Benefits

Enable prioritization within your EPTs to deliver solutions that are desirable, viable, and feasible, ensuring they meet the needs of business customers, business goals, and impact criteria.

Secure the capabilities and resources needed to execute your plans, including adoption and monetization of business banking solutions.

Measure and track realized benefits against objectives, ensuring outcomes are captured post-implementation (e.g., business customer acquisition, loan portfolio growth, sector-specific impact).
Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Manage and optimize end-to-end process performance, ensuring feedback loops and customer insights drive continuous improvement.

Champion innovation in business banking products and digital journeys, including sector-specific financing solutions and partnerships with impact-driven organisations.

Drive collaboration with impact teams to ensure alignment with Triodos' mission for sustainable business growth.
Risk & Compliance

Hold first-line risk and compliance accountability for all products and processes within your value stream, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.

Oversee the product lifecycle, including governance, risk assessments, and compliance checks.

Safeguard impact integrity, ensuring all solutions align with Triodos' Impact Management Framework and avoid greenwashing.
Budget & Resource Ownership

Own and manage the value stream budget, ensuring optimal allocation and trade-offs between EPTs.

Ensure financial discipline within your EPTs, including business case validation and cost-to-serve optimization.
Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration

Build alignment across value streams, business functions, and support teams (e.g., Risk, Legal, Impact).

Communicate transparently and proactively manage dependencies to ensure smooth execution.

Act as the primary escalation point for cross-value stream or cross-country issues, resolving conflicts and trade-offs.
Team Development & Performance

Foster accountability within agreed mandates, championing Triodos' behaviours and ways of working.

Drive continuous learning and capability building within your EPTs, ensuring they are empowered, autonomous, and outcome-focused.

Demonstrated expertise in strategy execution, proposition delivery, and end-to-end accountability, including first-line risk and compliance.

Robust skills in change management, Agile/Lean methodologies, with experience in scaling these across organisations.

Strong skills in conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and inclusive leadership, with the ability to balance commercial, customer, and societal needs.

Experience in budget management and financial discipline, including business case development and resource allocation.

Deep understanding of sector-specific financing, digital business banking, and partnerships with impact-driven organisations.

Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
