Start Your Finance Career at Triodos Bank

Are you interested in a career in finance, but don’t have a professional qualification yet? Do you have a passion for making a positive impact, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to learn? We’re looking for an Apprentice Finance Administrator to join our high performing Finance team at our Bristol head office.

This apprenticeship is designed for those early in their finance journey. You will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively. As part of your role, you’ll work towards a Level 4 AAT Professional Accounting Technician qualification, combining practical experience with study.

Please note: This apprenticeship is not open to applicants who already hold an AAT Level 4 qualification or a degree in accountancy.

What You'll Do

With the support of your team and dedicated training, you will:

  • Process and reconcile invoices, expenses, and credit card claims in line with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and VAT coding.
  • Prepare supplier payments and support with payment runs.
  • Help prepare audit files and assist with audit queries.
  • Build positive working relationships across the bank, supporting colleagues to follow finance processes.
  • Contribute to finance improvements and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

What We're Looking For

You don’t need years of experience - just a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to our mission of making money work for positive social, environmental, and cultural change. You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Are organised, accurate, and pay close attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and are confident to work well with others
  • Are committed to learning and developing your skills
  • Are motivated to take initiative and support your team
  • Can work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Are curious and open to finding ways to improve how we work
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office software is helpful; experience of using a finance system is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with a finance team, or regulated industry is desirable but not essential

Essential:

  • You must not already hold a Level 4 AAT qualification or higher, or a degree in accountancy.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for the apprenticeship.
