Business Continuity Manager

 Join our team as a Business Continuity Manager and safeguard the future of Triodos amidst any storm!

As Business Continuity Manager you are responsible for the design, implementation and management of the policies, processes, strategies and plans to manage business continuity, operational resilience and crisis management. You will work side-by-side with the (senior) Business Continuity Manager define and maintain the group processes for business continuity and crisis management. In addition, you will perform the local Business Continuity Manager roles in the Dutch and Belgium branches. You will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

 

 Take action:

  • Contribute to the BCM policy, BCM strategy, and plans for business continuity and operational resilience.
  • Perform business impact assessments and risk assessments
  • Maintain and update Local Business Continuity Plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that plans are integrated into business processes and operations.
  • Maintain, guide and support the crisis management team both in peace time as well as in the event of a crisis
  • Organise business continuity / operational resilience tests and trainings
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of business continuity/resilience plans and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

 

This is you
As Business Continuity Manager you are at the heart of the organisation. You have a good understanding of the bank’s processes and a solid foundation in business continuity principles, methodologies and practices (ISO 22301). You are strongly motivated to keep Triodos Bank operational resilient. You are an influencer, motivator and advisor to colleagues at all levels.

This is complemented by:

  • Staying up to date with regulations (DORA), emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Hand- on and pragmatic attitude to get things done
  • Problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability stay calm under pressure.
  • Being skilled at building strong relationships and fostering collaboration across all layers and areas of the business.
  • Proficient in English and Dutch.

The team
You will work in the Group department IT Risk & Resilience headed by the CISO, which is positioned to strengthen the digital and operational resilience of the bank. You are also part of the virtual Business Continuity team consisting of all local Business Continuity Managers who functionally report to the (senior) Business Continuity Manager.
