Who we are:
Triodos Bank is an award-winning organisation and one of Europe’s leading sustainable banks, whose mission is to make money work for positive social, environmental, and cultural change. We offer a wide range of banking services for people who want to use their money consciously – from current accounts through to investments and savings. We only finance companies, organisations and projects that benefit people and the environment.
The Opportunity
As Head of Procurement and Facilities, you will set the strategy for Procurement and Facilities Management within TBUK, encompassing Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Performance Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Facilities & Estates Management, workplace services, and Procurement best practice.
You will be responsible for the development, review, implementation, and continuous improvement of relevant policies, training materials, procedures, and processes, aligning with and influencing the Group Procurement function where appropriate, while ensuring a safe, sustainable and effective working environment across the UK estate.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team across Procurement and Facilities to provide consultancy, mentoring, and training to other co-workers in the Procurement and Contract Management community (such as Contract Managers, Contract Owners, and Project Managers). You will ensure the team provides suitable challenge to the business so that all activities achieve the level of service, savings, and support required from Triodos Bank UK’s third parties, while meeting Triodos’ requirements for sustainability, supporting a positive co-worker workplace experience, and fulfilling regulatory expectations from outsourced suppliers.
This is a Certified Function role within the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, under the category of “Significant Management.” As a direct report to a Senior Manager Function role in the UK, you will hold a high level of responsibility and autonomy, with authority delegated to you that has the potential to cause significant harm to the firm or its customers.
This role offers the benefits of flexible hybrid working, with an expectation to be on our Bristol office 3 days a week and the option to work from home on the other days. It is a key leadership role within the COO function, with the opportunity to shape both our third-party strategy and the environments in which our co-workers operate. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact within a values-led organisation.
