Currently, we’re looking for a CISO Strategy Advisor: a senior professional who combines strategic insight with a pragmatic mindset, strong coordination skills, and the ability to build alignment across teams and stakeholders.

How you will make a difference

In this newly created role, you will support the CISO in strengthening the strategic position of security and resilience within Triodos Bank. As digital and operational resilience become increasingly important, you will help translate organisational priorities, regulatory developments, and resilience ambitions into clear direction, governance, reporting, and improvement plans.

To be successful in this role:

• You are a senior strategic advisor who feels comfortable in a complex and regulated environment. You understand the wider business context and know how to translate strategic themes into practical guidance and clear decision-making.
• You are able to connect people, topics and priorities across teams, while keeping overview and focus.   
• You bring strong judgement, organisational sensitivity and the confidence to advise, challenge and influence senior stakeholders in a constructive way.
• You communicate clearly and can translate complex developments into concise management information, recommendations, dashboards, and board-level materials.

What you will bring:

• A strong track record in information security, business continuity, operational resilience, or operational risk management.
• Proven experience in a strategic advisory, senior governance or leadership support position.
• Experience with policy development, governance frameworks, maturity improvement planning, dashboard reporting, and board-level preparation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across teams and seniority levels.
• A pragmatic approach and the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on coordination and follow-through.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

• Academic working and thinking level, preferably in Information Security, Cyber Security, Risk Management, Business Continuity or a related field.
• Experience in financial services or banking is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• You are already located in the Netherlands.

Your Future Colleagues

You will become part of the Security & Resilience department in the first line of defence, and report directly to the CISO. The department brings together the teams for Information Security, Cyber Defence and Business Continuity, with a shared focus on strengthening cyber and operational resilience across Triodos Bank. You will work closely with colleagues across these teams, as well as with stakeholders in Digital & Technology, Risk and other business functions.

• salary appropriate to the position between € 83,500 – € 110,000 gross annual with a 36-hour working week
