Currently, we’re strengthening our Procurement organisation. Due to the increased need for strong category strategies, we would like to bring on board an experienced professional for a Head of Category Management position.
How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by leading the development and implementation of effective category and sourcing strategies that enhance procurement value, ensure compliance, and strengthen supplier management practices.
Next to working closely with Sourcing Execution & Contract Managers in the Procurement function, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organisation and contribute to the professionalisation of Procurement at Triodos.
In this role:
- You will lead, coach and develop a small team of Category Managers.
- You will champion the implementation of category management practices,
- You will deliver category strategy plans, sourcing approaches, and procurement governance policies. Your focus will be the IT category.
- You will engage and align with key internal stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are reflected in procurement strategies
- You will partner closely with the Sourcing Execution & Contract Managers on sourcing initiatives and stakeholder alignment
- You will define and conduct negotiation strategies with suppliers to drive savings and value
- You will provide input on potential risks across the procurement process
- You will help monitor governance implementation and support continuous improvement of category strategies

- extensive experience in IT category management, sourcing, and strategic procurement

- deep knowledge of procurement processes, governance, and risk frameworks
- experience in leading and mentoring a small team
- good command of English
Your future colleagues
You will be reporting directly to the Group Director Corporate Procurement and cooperating closely with colleagues across Category Management and Sourcing Execution & Contract Management.
The Group Procurement team consists of multiple specialized procurement roles covering strategic, tactical and operational activities.
