How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by further developing our impact reporting practice and providing strategic, mission-aligned advice to our senior management. Next to delivering timely, high-quality standard and ad hoc reports:
- You will improve and optimise the data streams used in impact reporting and support the integration of data processing, analysis and AI tools into the reporting landscape.
- You will act as a trusted counsellor to directors and other senior stakeholders on impact-related topics, helping them understand developments, implications and opportunities.
- You will proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to improve reporting quality, align expectations and ensure that impact insights are embedded in relevant processes and discussions.
- You will take ownership of your area of expertise, combine a hands-on mindset with strong responsibility, and help further professionalise impact reporting within the bank.
- You will work effectively across Finance and Controlling and build strong connections with colleagues in Impact Management, Commercial, Data & Analytics, and Corporate Communications.
The Management and Impact Reporting team, part of Group Controlling, works from our international Head Office in Zeist and services the European business units. In the area of impact performance, we are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague who wants to further develop the impact reporting practice in Triodos Bank; to translate impact-related data into meaningful management information, external disclosures and forward-looking insights for senior management and the management board. Therefore, we have a vacancy in the team for a Senior Management & Impact Reporting Specialist.
With your specific knowledge and experience in the area of finance, ESG frameworks and impact data, you will help Triodos Bank further strengthen its reporting practice.
- Oversee and contribute to the reporting on the realisation of our climate and nature strategy in different forms, while also serving as the key contact person for external auditors.
- Support the integration of data processing, analysis and AI tools to optimize the reporting landscape.
- Provide strategic, mission-aligned advice on impact-related topics to directors and senior stakeholders to help them understand developments, implications and opportunities.
- Proactively engage across functions to ensure that impact insights are embedded in relevant bank processes and discussions.
- Combine a hands-on mindset with strong responsibility to actively further professionalise impact reporting within the bank.
- Effectively manage relationships and build strong connections with colleagues in Impact Management, Commercial, Data & Analytics, and Corporate Communications.

The Management and Impact Reporting team plays a prominent role in the wider Group Controlling function. With various ambitious goals and deadlines on the agenda, especially surrounding international ESG disclosures and our climate strategy, the team is guaranteed to offer challenging and meaningful work ahead.
This is you
You are an experienced Management & Impact Reporting Specialist with expertise in the area of financial reporting, controlling or auditing. You bring curiosity, analytical skills and quick adaptation to complex content. You are up to date on the latest ESG regulations and frameworks and follow these developments closely. You ask the right questions, work in a structured way and you like to investigate with an eye for detail, without losing sight of the big picture. With your pragmatic and engaging attitude, you are always ready to help your colleagues, but also understand that translating complex impact data into reliable reporting requires high precision and a firm grasp of accounting principles. You're a team player and you share our mission. Coordinating your work with stakeholders across functions requires excellent communication skills.
This is complemented by:
- A relevant educational background in finance, business administration, economics or similar, combined with a clear affinity for ESG and impact-related topics;
- Extensive work experience (more than 5 years) preferably in an audit, reporting or controlling environment;
- Excellent command of English; command of Dutch is an advantage;
- Eye for quality improvement, data optimisation and innovation; and
- Good knowledge of and experience with datasets, reporting systems and analytical tools (Excel, Macros, Power BI), with the ability to support further optimisation of data processes.

- Previous experience in an audit, reporting or controlling environment.
- Proven experience with, or a strong desire to master, ESG frameworks such as PCAF, SBTi, EU Taxonomy and/or CSRD.
- Practice in working with analytical tools (Excel, Macros, Power BI) to optimise data processes.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal (Dutch is an advantage).
Your future colleagues
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Management and Impact Reporting and cooperate closely with the wider Group Controlling function and international business units. You will work in a multidisciplinary and diverse team; with colleagues whose educational backgrounds range from Finance and IT to Modelling and Environmental Science. The team language is English and we report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Daily you will be working with various departments across the whole organisation.
