We are looking for an experienced international payroll specialist, who coordinates the operational payroll process across countries on cross border working, along with the consequences for taxes, social security, international remuneration and immigration. You will be able to drive your own specialism as part of the broader payroll team and make a real impact on our co-workers.
How you will make a difference
You are responsible for solid and properly governed international payrolling process, including day-to-day activities like:
- Coordinating (and processing) the split payroll process in the Netherlands for cross border co-workers and aligning with HR departments in other countries. You do this together with our external partners;
- Being the liaison for tax advisors for our outsourced payrolls including the 13th payroll run in the Netherlands for co-workers from Triodos branches and yearly tax returns;
- Managing cross-border working requests from the business and investigating different possibilities in line with (international) regulation and our own cross-border working policy, and ensure the realization with internal and external stakeholders;
- Acting as a single point of contact and advice cross border co-workers on terms & conditions of cross border/ international working (i.e. contractual matters, fiscal and legal consequences and align with Tax and Legal);
- Ensuring compliance of the payroll administration in line with local laws and regulations;
- Collaborating closely with the rest of the payroll team, the HR Officers and the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure a timely and accurate processing of payroll.

To be successful in this position you:
- Are detail oriented and take initiative, you are in the end the owner of international payroll;
- Bring several years of experience in (international) payroll and global mobility with a relevant educational background (e.g. Dutch PDL);
- Enjoy getting to the bottom of things (e.g. drilling down into financial administration) and act with integrity;
- Are self-starting and able to organize/prioritize your own work;
- Are a good communicator in English (Dutch language skills are preferred).
Your future co-workers
You will collaborate closely with the other colleagues in the payroll team and our external payroll partners. You are all specialists in the field and crucial for the organization. You will also interact with the HR officers, the Compensation & Benefits team and colleagues from application maintenance. Your position is part of the HR Service Delivery team and the wider Triodos Group HR team.
