Due to our commitment to ethical banking and global impact, we would like to bring on board a Junior Legal Operations Officer for a 32 - 36 hour contract.

 

How you will make a difference

You will help us to 'change finance to finance change', by supporting the Triodos Legal community in its legal and operational responsibilities. Next to gaining hands-on experience in a regulated banking environment, you will:

  • Provide administrative support, including registration with the Chamber of Commerce and meeting coordination.
  • Support legal systems and tooling through basic maintenance, user control, and data inquiries.
  • Assist with invoice processing, budget monitoring, and cost control reconciliation.
  • Deliver project and process support, including cross-functional coordination and file management.
  • Ensure continuity and quality of Legal Operations through data collection and basic analysis.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have a completed bachelor’s degree (or close to completion), preferably in law or business administration.
  • be successfully managing administrative workflows and secretarial tasks with high accuracy.
  • challenge status quo by proactively improving legal processes and system efficiency.
  • be customer oriented and service-oriented in your support of the wider legal community.
  • enjoy working on digital tools and systems, specifically MS Office and MS Teams.

 

Furthermore, it is desirable that you will have:

  • previous experience (0-2 years) in a legal, regulatory, or administrative environment.
  • proven experience with data handling and basic reporting.
  • practice in working within a complex and regulated organisational structure.
  • good command of both English and Dutch.

 

Your future colleagues

You will be working under the operational instruction and supervision of the Senior Legal Operations Officers, with a direct reporting line to the Head of General Legal Affairs. You will also cooperate closely with seven Legal Counsels. The General Legal Affairs team provides legal support at group level and is part of a wider community of around 40 legal colleagues across Triodos.
