The Planning for the Future value stream helps customers achieve their financial goals, whether saving or investing for a home, education, or retirement, by offering tailored wealth-building solutions. We start with the customer’s needs and design customer journeys that drive the savings and investments products.
How you will make a difference
You will help us to change finance to finance change by shaping and delivering banking propositions with a focus on savings products, combining customer value, commercial performance, regulatory soundness and meaningful societal impact.
You will:

define and communicate a clear Savings product vision and direction aligned with Triodos’ mission, strategic objectives, impact ambitions and regulatory requirements

take end-to-end ownership of your product from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring effective embedding in business processes and value delivery
-
manage and prioritise the product backlog based on customer insights, stakeholder input, data and business needs to maximize value for customers and the organization

make informed trade-offs across customer value, impact, risk, operational feasibility and time-to-market, providing clarity and direction to colleagues and stakeholders
-
oversee delivery with cross-functional product teams and coordinate dependencies beyond the core team where needed to support successful implementation
-
manage budgets and business cases, track realized benefits against objectives, and continuously improve product performance through customer feedback, data and market insights
-
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing and country teams, to support adoption, alignment and effective rollout across the organization

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

4–6 years of product management experience, within financial services or another regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of savings, products, including deep understanding of customer needs and the regulatory context that shapes them. This is mandatory for this vacancy

Proven experience managing products end-to-end, from concept and prioritization through delivery, launch and continuous improvement.
-
Experience working with compliance, risk and business change, ideally in banking or financial services.
-
The ability to set clear direction, make sound trade-offs and deliver results in a complex and evolving environment.

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working across business, technology, legal, risk and marketing.

A customer-focused and analytical mindset, using insights and data to improve products and create positive impact.

Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a strong plus.
It is a plus if you also have:

Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience managing product backlogs, business cases, budgets and value tracking.

Experience coaching or supporting less experienced colleagues.

An advanced degree and/or relevant Agile/Scrum certification.
Your future colleagues
You will report directly to the Value Stream Lead Planning for the Future.
Your immediate team – your cross-functional product team – consists of, 5 product managers, Change Analysts and software engineers, and you will cooperate closely with other colleagues involved in product delivery. You will also collaborate with country teams to support alignment and implementation, and with cross-functional teams such as legal, risk and marketing to ensure customer-centric, compliant, and well-supported products.
