Join us, we are a frontrunner in ethical banking and global impact investing, and we need people like you to make change happen.

We believe that money can change the world for the better. In fact, our organisation was founded on this belief. Our mission is to create a society that protects and promotes the quality of life of all its members with human dignity at its core.

Currently, we’re looking for a Reporting Specialist for Triodos Investment Management (T-IM).

How you will make a difference

You will help us ‘change finance to finance change’ by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of financial and regulatory reporting for our Dutch and Luxembourg-domiciled funds. As a Reporting Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing outsourced reporting activities, coordinating audits, and driving continuous improvement—all while upholding our mission of sustainable investing.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Oversee outsourced financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards (e.g., Dutch GAAP, Lux GAAP, AIFMD, FINREP).
  • Coordinate the (semi-)annual audit process, acting as the primary liaison between external auditors, outsourced service providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review (semi-)annual reports, guaranteeing accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls (e.g., ISAE) to mitigate risks and enhance the reliability of outsourced processes.
  • Drive process improvements, leveraging data- and AI-driven solutions to optimise reporting efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with a small, expert team in a dynamic environment, contributing to the evolution of our reporting frameworks.

What you will bring

Your unique potential and values matter most to us. We look for people who think holistically, are self-aware, and are conscious of their impact on society, the environment, and the economy.

To be successful in this role:

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance, supplemented by a relevant certification (e.g., RA, RC, CPA, CMA) or near completion.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial/regulatory reporting within the financial services industry (investment funds experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting, regulatory reporting (e.g., MER, MESRAP, AIFMD), and audit coordination.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers, with a keen eye for oversight, challenge, and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset, with a passion for process improvement and innovation (experience with Tangelo is a plus).

You are:

  • Analytical and structured, with the ability to navigate complex reporting requirements.
  • A clear communicator, adept at managing stakeholder relationships (internal teams, auditors, service providers).
  • Mission-driven, with a genuine affinity for sustainable investing and Triodos’ values.

We don’t expect you to tick every box—if you recognise yourself in this role and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply!

Your future colleagues

You’ll join a small, expert team within Triodos Investment Management, working closely with colleagues across finance, compliance, and operations. Together, you’ll contribute to a shared mission: using money consciously to create positive impact.
