Currently, we’re looking for a Senior Business Continuity Manager.

 

How you will make a difference

As a Senior Business Continuity Manager, you will be focusing on expanding and evolving our current business continuity management (BCM) processes into a comprehensive operational resilience practice. This means keeping the continuity of Triodos Bank’s critical processes at the heart of everything we do, especially in light of increasing societal and geopolitical challenges.

You will work alongside two business continuity managers and collaborate closely with colleagues across the bank, both at the Group level and in our local business units (ES, DE, UK, NL, BE). Your leadership and vision will be essential to support the organization in building a culture of resilience and readiness for disruptive scenarios.

 

Your tasks include:

  • Develop and enhance operational resilience strategies, policies, and plans, building on our BCM foundation
  • Act as project manager for the implementation of  operational resilience capabilities, providing regular project updates to senior 
  • Lead scenario analysis, vulnerability assessments, and regular resilience testing for critical business processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Group and local business units to embed resilience in day-to-day operations
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resilience frameworks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Stay up to date with relevant regulations (such as DORA), sector trends, and best practices

To be successful in this role, you are an experienced professional with a passion for operational resilience and a track record in business continuity and crisis management. You combine strategic vision with strong project management skills, and you know how to inspire, motivate, and engage colleagues at every level to prioritize resilience. You are proactive, hands-on, and pragmatic, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills

 

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

  • A solid foundation in business continuity and operational resilience principles (e.g. ISO 22301)
  • Experience in designing and implementing resilience frameworks in a complex organization
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including organizing steering committees and delivering project updates to leadership
  • The ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across teams and countries
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Awareness of relevant regulations, such as DORA, and current trends in risk and resilience

 

 

Your future colleagues

You will join the Group IT Risk & Resilience department, led by the CISO, which is dedicated to strengthening the bank’s digital and operational resilience. You will also be part of the virtual Business Continuity community, collaborating with local business continuity officers in our European branches.
