How you will make a difference
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to financing innovative and inspiring entrepreneurs. We are looking for a versatile financing specialist who will mainly focus on entrepreneurs active in Germany. Together with the relationship managers in Frankfurt, you will be responsible for managing the credit portfolio. You will perform detailed financial and risk analyses to assess the creditworthiness of entrepreneurs.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Independently executing credit reviews for the credit portfolio of Triodos Bank Germany, working in close cooperation with colleagues in Frankfurt (front, mid, and back office).
- Asking critical questions and acting as a professional sparring partner for the relationship manager.
- Consulting with colleagues from Credit Analysis, Legal Affairs, and Specialised Recovery.
- Managing client relationships in collaboration with the relationship managers, including direct client contact.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO), or an equivalent level of working and thinking.
- Extensive professional experience in a similar position.
- Deep experience with banking finance in both Germany and the Netherlands, a solid understanding of the cultural differences, and (basic) knowledge of insolvency law.
- Since the portfolio is located in Germany, a strong command of German, English, and Dutch is required.
Your future colleagues
You will join a driven and professional team of twenty-one experienced financing specialists within the Mid Office of Triodos Bank Netherlands. Within this team, collaboration, quality, personal development, customer focus, and working effectively are key.
In your role, you will work closely with relationship managers and fellow financing specialists. In addition, you will have regular contact with colleagues from Credit Analysis, Legal Affairs, and Administration.
