Senior Relationship Manager – Nature, Food & Resource
Triodos Bank, a certified B Corporation and one of Europe’s leading sustainable banks, is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager – Nature, Food & Resource to drive business banking growth across the UK. About the Role:
Lead the development of new and existing client relationships, with a focus on nature-based, agricultural, food, and resource sectors. You’ll have considerable autonomy, hybrid working flexibility, and regular client engagement across the UK, with access to Bristol, London, and Edinburgh offices as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and assess commercial lending opportunities, presenting credit proposals
- Build and manage client portfolios (£1m–£20m borrowing), balancing risk and growth
- Promote Triodos Bank’s lending solutions, events, and campaigns
- Develop networks with professional business introducers
- Advance bank policy and strategy in specialist sectors
- Prepare and negotiate loan terms for complex, high-profile customers
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings, including UK travel and occasional trips to Europe
About You:
You bring substantial commercial lending experience and excel at managing client relationships. You’re adept at complex credit proposals, with a keen interest in nature, food, and resource sectors. You thrive in a values-led environment, communicate effectively, and enjoy mentoring others. Willingness to travel is essential.
